Thomas International's personality test is called the the Personal Profile Analysis (PPA). The PPA personality test is work-based, providing insights into people’s behavioral style at work.

The PPA personality test answers people questions such as:

  • What are their strengths and possible limitations?
  • Are they self-starters?
  • How do they communicate?
  • What motivates them?

The PPA personality test enables understanding of work style to assist with identifying people’s work strengths. This gives your leaders valuable insight into why people behave as they do, how to leverage their strengths for the greatest success, and how to develop their potential. Managers can learn how to interact more effectively with their people, to engage them and promote productivity, thus increasing leadership effectiveness.

How does it work?
The PPA personality test is completed online or in paper form and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Our online account allows you to email an assessment link directly to a candidate to complete the assessment online. From a series of 24 forced-choice items, the individual identifies qualities that are most and least like them at work. The PPA provides accurate, work-based behavioral information that you can use to address human resource issues through 16 report options that you select.

The PPA personality test provides an understanding of how a person behaves at work and the characteristics they may demonstrate. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers and it does not show "good" or "bad" qualities.
