Job Evaluation Tool

Thomas International's job evaluation tool is an integral component to the DISC profile system. Both our Human Job Analysis (HJA) and our interactive job profiling tool, called Job Create, enable you to quickly and effectively identify work behaviors for the role. These job tests allow you to incorporate the behavioral skills, competencies and the culture of your organization into your job evaluation.

The Job Profile that is produced from the job evaluation can be used in a number of different talent management applications, including:

Recruiting and Selecting
Job Profiles are used to assess both internal and external candidates against the specific role. Candidates are assessed and compared to Job Profile to determine a measure of fit with the role. The Job-Candidate Compatibility report highlights areas for discussion in interviews, and includes behavioral interview questions to help you get "behind the mask" of candidates. A sample of the Job-Candidate Compatibility report is provided under samples to the left. Properly applying Job Profiles to the recruiting and selecting process typically results in hiring the right person the first time, hence avoiding costly bad hires.

Benchmarking and Job Standards
Using the job evaluation tool and the PPA personality test results of current employees, Thomas International can help you develop job benchmarks for your roles. Benchmarking enables you to effectively recruit the top talent by identifying the behavioral qualities of those who are already performing well in a particular job.
